Katie Paterson - Ice Records

These three records are amazingly made from ice. They feature three different recordings of glaciers in Iceland and were made from the three glaciers themselves. Once made they were then played until they completely melted as part of an art instillation for Room London. Link

Ron van der Ende

Ron van der Ende is a sculptor living in Rotterdam. He specializes in wall mounted bas-reliefs constructed from found wood. The pieces can end up looking almost photo-realistic or like they have been photo-shopped onto their surroundings due to their cleaver use of perspective. It's hard to believe that they are all made from scraps. Amazing. Link

It reminds me a little of the scrap wood furniture of another Dutchman, Piet Hein Eek. Link
