Sir Norman Foster's Dymaxion

Have you ever seen anything like this before? Sir Norman Foster has just completed the rebuild of Buckminster Fuller's Dymaxion car, a revolutionary vehicle from 1933. Foster has apparently been fascinated with the Dymaxion since he worked for Fuller during the seventies. More information on the project can be found here.

Tomoko Azumi

I've always been a fan of both Tomoko and Shin Azumi's work and found pieces like Table=Chest a big inspiration whilst studying at university. Currently Tomoko Azumi has a solo exhibition at the Rocket Gallery in London. I think it's great to see the workings of a designer and the paper and card models are great to see. I also came across a short video commissioned by the Crafts Council of Tomoko talking about how she came to design and develop the Table=Chest piece back in 1995.

Dieter Rams' Principles of Good Design

Cool Hunting have made a nice little video discussing Dieter Ram's 10 principles of good design during there visit to the Vitsoe headquarters in London.
